Car
If you are driving from the capital city of Atsimo-Atsinanana, Tôlanaro, head east on Route Nationale 12 towards Sainte-Luce. Follow the signs for Sainte-Luce and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach the village of Sainte-Luce, look for signs that lead to the Sainte Luce Reserve. The reserve is located at the coordinates 55W7+RF6. There is parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Sainte Luce Reserve via public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Tôlanaro to Sainte-Luce. The taxi-brousse terminal is located in the center of Tôlanaro. The fare is approximately 2,000 MGA (Malagasy Ariary) for the trip. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Sainte-Luce, ask locals for directions to the Sainte Luce Reserve, which is located at 55W7+RF6. It is about a 15-minute walk from the main road.
Walking
If you arrive in Sainte-Luce by public transport and need to walk to the reserve, exit the taxi-brousse and head towards the village center. From there, follow the main road south and look for signs pointing to Sainte Luce Reserve. The reserve is approximately 1.5 kilometers from the village center, and the walk should take around 15-20 minutes.
