Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Atsinanana and head towards Antananarivo. Follow Route Nationale 2 (RN2) for approximately 60 km until you reach Antananarivo. Once in Antananarivo, navigate to Rue de Liège in the Tsaralalàna district. The Pirates Museum is located at 103, Rue de Liège, on the 4th floor of the PRIORI travels building. There is usually street parking available, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Atsinanana to Antananarivo. The journey typically takes around 2-3 hours and costs about 10,000 to 15,000 Ariary (approximately $3 to $5 USD). Once you arrive in Antananarivo, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Rue de Liège. The museum is situated in the Tsaralalàna area, and it's advisable to ask the driver to drop you off near the PRIORI travels building.

• Walking

  If you're already in the Tsaralalàna area, you can easily walk to the Pirates Museum. Look for Rue de Liège, and head towards the address 103, where you will find the PRIORI travels building. The museum is located on the 4th floor, so be prepared to take the stairs or the elevator if available.
