Car
If you are traveling by car from Mahajanga, head east on Route Nationale 4 (RN4) for approximately 37 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards the Unnamed Road leading to Grottes de Belobaka. Once you reach the coordinates (8C23+HHC), continue on the Unnamed Road until you arrive at the caves. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for potentially rough terrain, as some sections may not be well maintained.
Public Transportation
To reach Grottes de Belobaka via public transportation from Mahajanga, you will first need to take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading east towards Antsohihy. You can find taxi-brousses at the main station in Mahajanga. After about an hour (depending on traffic), ask the driver to drop you off near the intersection with the Unnamed Road (you may need to clarify with locals or other passengers). From there, you can either walk approximately 5 kilometers to the caves or hire a local guide or motorcycle taxi to take you the rest of the way.

If you are dropped off at the intersection with the Unnamed Road, be prepared to walk to Grottes de Belobaka. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
