Getting There

Walking

Start from the center of Fort Dauphin. Head towards Avenue de l'Independance and walk southeast until you reach the intersection with Route nationale 13 (RN13). Continue walking along RN13, following the signs towards Taolagnaro. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating a turnoff towards Ankoba Beach. Take this turnoff and follow the path, which will lead you through some local neighborhoods. Continue straight until you reach a well-marked trail that leads directly to Ankoba Beach.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Fort Dauphin. Start your ride on Avenue de l'Independance heading southeast. After about 1 kilometer, turn onto Route nationale 13 (RN13) and continue for approximately another 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign to Ankoba Beach on your left.
