Car
If you are driving from Ihorombe, head towards Antananarivo via the RN7 highway. The journey will take approximately 8-10 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Antananarivo, follow the signs to Ambohimanga. As you approach Ambohimanga, locate Rova, Ambohimanga Rova. There is parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
Take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Ihorombe to Antananarivo. The fare is approximately 30,000 Ariary and the trip will take about 8-10 hours. Upon arrival at the taxi-brousse station in Antananarivo, take a local taxi to Ambohimanga. The taxi ride should cost around 10,000 Ariary and take about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Rova, Ambohimanga Rova.
Walking
Once you arrive at Rova, Ambohimanga Rova, there is no need for further transportation as the site is accessible on foot. There are signposts leading you to the entrance of the historical site.
