    If you are traveling by car within Itasy, start from the town of Ambatolampy. Head west on Route Nationale 34 (RN34) for approximately 25 kilometers. Upon nearing the lake, you will see a fork in the road; take the right fork to arrive at the eastern shores of Lake Itasy. There is a small parking area where you can leave your car.
