Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Majunga, head towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du 26 Juin. Turn left onto Rue du 26 Juin and continue walking for about 1 km until you reach the main bus station (Gare Routière de Mahajanga).

  • Bus

    At the Gare Routière de Mahajanga, look for a bus or taxi-brousse heading towards 'CIRQUE ROUGE' or 'Ankarafantsika'. The fare should be around 1,000 Ariary. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to CIRQUE ROUGE. The ride should take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive at the drop-off point near CIRQUE ROUGE, disembark and follow the signs or local directions to walk towards the entrance of CIRQUE ROUGE. It should be within walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) from where the bus drops you off.
