From the central market in Manakara, head southeast on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Turn right onto Rue de la Liberté and walk for another 300 meters. You will come across a large roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto RN12 (Route Nationale 12). Continue on RN12 for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll see Abbatoir Manakara on your left at the coordinates R2Q2+XR6.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the beachfront in Manakara. Start by cycling along Avenue de l'Indépendance heading southeast. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Rue de la Liberté. Cycle for about 300 meters until you reach a large roundabout.
