Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mandrare River, head southeast along the main path that leads toward the Marokoky area. Keep an eye out for local signage that indicates directions towards Cabane Ndraha. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the path. Take the left fork, which leads you through some lush vegetation and along the riverbank. Continue for another 2 kilometers, and you will notice a series of small huts and local villages. Ask the locals for guidance to Cabane Ndraha; they will be familiar with the area. Once you reach the last village, follow the signs for Cabane Ndraha, which is located just further along the river. The journey should take around 45 minutes to 1 hour on foot.

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle in Mandrare River. Start by heading southeast along the main road towards Marokoky. The route is approximately 4 kilometers long. After about 1 kilometer, you will come across a small bridge; cross this bridge and continue along the road. About 2 kilometers further, you will encounter a fork in the road; take the left path. This will lead you to a more scenic route along the river. Be cautious of any pedestrians and local traffic. After about another kilometer, you will arrive at the vicinity of Cabane Ndraha, where you can lock your bike and walk the remaining distance.
