From Melaky, you will need to rent a car to travel to Tsingy Gris Ankarana. Start your journey by driving southeast on Route Nationale 6 (RN6) towards Antananarivo. The drive will take approximately 10-12 hours, depending on road conditions. Make sure to follow the signs towards Ankarana National Park. Once you reach the town of Ambilobe, take a left turn onto Route Nationale 5 (RN5) which leads directly to the Ankarana area. Continue until you reach the entrance to Tsingy Gris Ankarana, which is about 30 minutes from the main road.

From Melaky, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) to Antananarivo. The journey will take around 12-14 hours, and you will need to board at the main taxi-brousse station in Melaky. Once in Antananarivo, transfer to another taxi-brousse heading towards Ambilobe. After approximately 7-8 hours, you will arrive in Ambilobe. From Ambilobe, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a tour guide to take you to Tsingy Gris Ankarana, which is about a 30-minute drive away. Be prepared for additional costs for the taxi or guide.
