Continue for about 5 kilometers, and you should see signs for the Menabe Forest. Ensure you have a map or GPS for accurate navigation, as some roads may be unpaved.
Public Transportation
To reach Menabe Forest using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Morondava to the village of Belon'i Tsiribihina. The fare is approximately 10,000 Ariary (about $3 USD) and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Belon'i Tsiribihina, you can hire a local guide or a taxi to reach the Menabe Forest. This final leg will cost around 20,000 Ariary (about $6 USD) for a short drive, which is typically about 5 kilometers.
