From Ambositra, take Route Nationale 34 towards Ankazobe. Follow RN34 until you reach the town of Miandrivazo. From Miandrivazo, continue on Route Nationale 34 towards the village of Kirindy Mitea. Kirindy Mitea National Park is located approximately 30 kilometers northwest of the village.

    For those travelling by public transportation, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Ranomafana National Park to Fianarantsoa. From Fianarantsoa, you can take another taxi-brousse to Ambositra. In Ambositra, you can catch a taxi-brousse or a bus heading towards Miandrivazo. Once in Miandrivazo, you may need to hire a local taxi or take a bush taxi to the village of Kirindy Mitea. From the village, it is a short distance to Kirindy Mitea National Park.
