Walking

Start from the central market in Toamasina (Marché Central). Head northeast on Avenue de l'Indépendance for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Réunion. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see a large sign for Avaratra. Turn left at the sign and follow the road for approximately 400 meters.

After walking for 400 meters, you will reach the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Turn right onto Rue de la Liberté. Walk straight for about 300 meters where you will see local shops and residences. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating 'Ankirihiry'.

Continue on Rue de la Liberté until you reach the end of the road. You will find yourself at a small park area. From here, head directly north along the footpath leading to Ankirihiry Nord. It's about a 10-minute walk from the park through a scenic area, and you should see signs for Ankirihiry Nord indicating your destination is just ahead.
