Walking
If you are starting from the Toamasina city center, head south on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards Avenue Général de Gaulle. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Armée. Turn left onto Rue de l'Armée and continue walking for approximately 500 meters. At the end of Rue de l'Armée, turn right onto Avenue de la Révolution. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the signs directing you to the beach. Toamasina Beach will be on your left.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in the city center. Start on Avenue de l'Indépendance, heading south. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Rue de l'Armée. Cycle straight for 500 meters, then turn right onto Avenue de la Révolution. Continue cycling for approximately 1.5 kilometers, following the signs to the beach. Toamasina Beach will be on your left, and there should be bike racks available near the entrance.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the city center, locate the nearest bus stop along Avenue de l'Indépendance. Take a local bus heading towards the beach area. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Toamasina Beach (they usually know the popular destinations). The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the beach entrance.
Tuk-tuk
Find a tuk-tuk in the city center, especially around Avenue de l'Indépendance. Negotiate a fare with the driver and ask to be taken to Toamasina Beach. The journey should take around 10 minutes. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the beach entrance, from where you can easily walk to the shoreline.
