From the center of Toliara, start at Avenue de l'Indépendance and head south. Walk towards the main market (La Place) and continue straight until you reach the junction with Route Nationale 9 (RN9). At this junction, turn left onto RN9. Continue walking along RN9 until you reach a bus station. From here, you can catch a shared taxi-brousse heading to Ifaty. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Ifaty before boarding.
