Start your journey in Antananarivo, the capital city. Head southwest on Route Nationale 1 towards Antananarivo - Vakinankaratra. After approximately 150 km, you will reach the town of Antsirabe. Continue on Route Nationale 7 for about 30 km until you see signs for Lake Tritriva. Turn onto the road leading to Lake Tritriva, which is about 15 km from the main road. There is a small parking area near the entrance to the site. Make sure to bring cash for parking fees, which are approximately MGA 2,000 (around $0.50).

From Antananarivo, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading to Antsirabe. The journey takes around 3-4 hours and costs approximately MGA 10,000 (about $2.50). Upon arrival in Antsirabe, you can catch another taxi-brousse or a private taxi to Lake Tritriva. The taxi-brousse will cost around MGA 5,000 (about $1.25) and takes about 30 minutes.
