    If you are starting from the Augusta Civic Center, head northeast on Civic Center Dr toward Western Ave. Continue on Western Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with State St. Turn left onto State St and walk for approximately 0.3 miles. You will see the Maine State House on your left. Continue past the State House and take the next left onto Union St. Capitol Park is located at 33 Union St, just a short walk ahead on your right.

    From the Augusta Public Library, exit the library and head south on State St toward the Maine State House. Walk about 0.4 miles, crossing the intersection with Union St. After passing the State House, take a right onto Union St. Capitol Park will be on your right at 33 Union St, just a few hundred feet away.
