Walking
If you are starting from the Augusta City Center, head east on Water Street for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by the Kennebec River on your left. Continue straight, and you will reach the intersection with Canal Street. Turn left onto Canal Street, and after a short walk of about 0.2 miles, you will find the Museum in The Streets: Canal Street on your right.

Public Transportation
Take the local bus service from the Augusta Transportation Center. Board the bus heading towards Sand Hill. Once you reach the Sand Hill stop, disembark and walk southwest on Sand Hill Road. Continue straight until you reach Canal Street. Turn left, and you will arrive at the Museum in The Streets: Canal Street, which will be on your right in about a 5-minute walk.
