If you are starting from the Augusta Civic Center, head northeast on Community Drive. After about 0.3 miles, turn right onto Western Avenue (US-202). Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Canal Street. Turn left onto Canal Street, and you will find the Museum in The Streets: Canal Street located on your right.

From the Augusta City Center, take the Kennebec Explorer Bus (Route 1) towards the Civic Center. Get off at the Western Avenue stop. From there, walk east along Western Avenue for about 0.4 miles.
