Walking
From Biddeford City Hall located at 205 Main Street, head north on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Biddeford-Saco Bridge. Cross the bridge, which will lead you into Saco. Continue straight on Main Street, which becomes Water Street, and then take a left onto Route 1 South. Walk for about 1 mile, and you will enter downtown Portland. Once you reach Congress Street, turn right. The Arts District will be on your right, and you will see the attractions along this vibrant street.

Public Transit - Bus
From Biddeford, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main Street & Alfred Street (approximately a 10-minute walk from City Hall). Take the Greater Portland Metro Bus #5 towards Portland. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at Congress Street & State Street. From there, walk a short distance to the right on Congress Street, and you will enter the Arts District, where various attractions are located.

If you have access to a bike, you can cycle from Biddeford to Portland. Start at Biddeford City Hall and head north on Main Street. After crossing the Biddeford-Saco Bridge, continue onto Water Street, which will lead you to Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 into downtown Portland. Once you reach Congress Street, turn right. The Arts District will be easily recognizable, and there are bike racks available for parking your bike.
