Bus
Start at the Biddeford City Hall. Walk to the nearest bus stop located at 205 Main St (approximately a 5-minute walk). Take the METRO bus route towards Falmouth. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Falmouth Shopping Center stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes along Foreside Rd toward the water. Follow the signs to Mackworth Island. You will reach the entrance in about 10 minutes.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Biddeford. Start at the Biddeford Recreation Department and head north on Main St. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1.
