Start at the Biddeford City Hall. Walk to the nearest bus stop located at 205 Main St (approximately a 5-minute walk). Take the METRO bus route towards Falmouth. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Falmouth Shopping Center stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes along Foreside Rd toward the water. Follow the signs to Mackworth Island. You will reach the entrance in about 10 minutes.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Biddeford. Start at the Biddeford Recreation Department and head north on Main St. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and follow it for about 3 miles. Look for signs leading to Mackworth Island. The entrance will be on your left. The total ride is approximately 5 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes.

From downtown Biddeford, head east on Main St. Continue walking straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Route 1.
