From Biddeford, walk to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Metro bus Route 1 towards Portland. The bus will take you directly to Downtown Portland. Once you reach the Portland Transportation Center, exit the bus and walk toward Congress Street. Monument Square is located at 456 Congress St, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station. Head north on Franklin Arterial, then turn right onto Congress Street. Continue walking until you see Monument Square on your left.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Biddeford. Start by heading north on Main Street until you reach the Saco River. Cross the bridge and continue on the bike path that follows the river toward Portland. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with Franklin Arterial. Turn left onto Franklin Arterial and continue until you reach Congress Street. Turn left onto Congress Street and Monument Square will be on your right.

For those who prefer to walk, start at Main Street in Biddeford and head toward the Saco River. Walk along the riverfront until you reach the bridge leading into Saco. Cross the bridge, and you'll find yourself on Water Street. Continue straight as Water Street becomes Franklin Street. Follow Franklin Street until you reach Franklin Arterial and turn left. Continue on Franklin Arterial until you reach Congress Street. Turn left onto Congress Street, and Monument Square will be a short distance ahead on your right.
