Walking
From the center of Brunswick, head east on Maine Street towards Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bath Road (Route 1). Turn left onto Bath Road and follow it for approximately 6 miles, which will take you through Topsham and into Portland. Once in Portland, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Veranda Street. Turn right onto Veranda Street, and after a short distance, you will see signs for Back Cove Trail on your left.

From downtown Brunswick, walk to the Brunswick Visitor Center located at 16 Station Avenue. Catch the METRO bus number 1 towards Portland. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Back Cove' stop. From there, walk towards the water, and you will see the entrance to the Back Cove Trail nearby.
