From the center of Brunswick, head south on Maine Street towards the intersection with Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 carefully and follow the signs for 'Maine Turnpike/Portland'. You will then follow the pedestrian walkway leading towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Commercial Street. Make a left onto Commercial Street and walk until you arrive at Custom House Wharf in Portland. This route is approximately 25 minutes on foot.

From the main bus stop located on Maine Street in Brunswick, take the Metro Bus Route 1 towards Portland. The bus operates regularly, so check the current schedule for the next departure. After about a 30-minute ride, disembark at the bus stop near the Portland Transportation Center. From there, walk east towards the waterfront, following the signs for Custom House Wharf. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk from the transportation center to the wharf.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can bike from Brunswick to Portland. Start at the south end of Maine Street and head towards Route 1. Follow the bike lanes along Route 1 southbound, which will take you directly to Portland. Once you reach the city, follow the bike lanes to Commercial Street, where Custom House Wharf is located. The bike ride is approximately 30 minutes, depending on your pace.
