Walking
From the center of Brunswick, walk towards Maine Street and head south. Continue straight on Maine Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 and follow the signs for the Maine Turnpike (I-295) towards Boothbay Harbor. After approximately 2.5 miles, turn left onto Route 27. Stay on Route 27 for around 14 miles, which will lead you directly into Boothbay Harbor. Once you reach Boothbay Harbor, turn left onto Townsend Avenue, and you will find the Opera House at 86 Townsend Ave on your right.
Public Transit
Start at the Brunswick Visitor Center located at 16 Station Ave. Walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Downeast Transportation bus service towards Boothbay Harbor. The bus will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Boothbay Harbor. Once you disembark at the Boothbay Harbor stop, walk towards Townsend Avenue. The Opera House is located at 86 Townsend Ave, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Brunswick. Start from the center of Brunswick and ride south on Maine Street towards Route 1. Take a left onto Route 1 and follow it for about 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Route 27 and continue for approximately 14 miles. Once you arrive in Boothbay Harbor, turn left onto Townsend Avenue, and the Opera House will be on your right at 86 Townsend Ave.
