From downtown Brunswick, head south on Maine Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pleasant Street. Turn right onto Pleasant Street and walk until you reach the Amtrak train station. From there, you can take the Downeaster train to Portland. Once you arrive at the Portland station, exit and head east on Franklin Street. At the intersection, turn left onto Congress Street. Continue walking on Congress Street for about 0.5 miles. The Portland Observatory will be on your left at 138 Congress St.
