Car
If you are driving from Eastport, take Route 1 North for approximately 20 miles. Continue until you reach the junction with Route 86. Turn left onto Route 86 and follow it for about 10 miles until you reach South Edmunds Road. Turn right onto South Edmunds Road, and after about 1 mile, you will see Cobscook Bay State Park on your left at 40 S Edmunds Rd, Dennysville, ME 04628.
Car
From Machias, head north on Route 1 for about 25 miles. When you reach the town of Dennysville, continue on Route 1 until you see the signs for Route 86. Turn right onto Route 86 and follow it for about 10 miles. Turn right onto South Edmunds Road, and after approximately 1 mile, you will find Cobscook Bay State Park on your left.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Machias. From Machias, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the final stretch. The distance from Machias to Cobscook Bay State Park is about 25 miles, and local taxi services may charge around $50-$70 for the trip, depending on the service and time of day.
Carpool/Rideshare
Consider using a rideshare app to find a ride to Cobscook Bay State Park if public transportation is not available.
