If you're traveling by car, head towards Owls Head Lighthouse located at 186 Lighthouse Rd, Owls Head, ME 04854. From Rockland, take Route 1 South for approximately 3 miles. Then, take the exit toward Owls Head and turn right onto Lighthouse Road. Follow Lighthouse Road for about 1 mile until you reach the lighthouse parking area. Parking is free, and you will find signs directing you to the lighthouse.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the Knox County Transit bus service from Rockland. The bus departs from the Rockland Transportation Center. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited. Request to get off at the Owls Head stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the lighthouse. Follow the signs towards Lighthouse Road, and then follow the road until you reach the lighthouse. Be prepared for a short uphill walk.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can also bicycle to Owls Head Lighthouse. The ride from Rockland is approximately 4 miles. Take Route 1 South, then follow the same directions as you would by car. Be cautious as the roads can be busy, and ensure to wear a helmet for safety.
