Walking
Start at the Rockland Harbor Hotel, located at 10 Ocean Street. Head south on Ocean Street towards the waterfront. When you reach the end of Ocean Street, turn right onto Mechanic Street. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to the Rockland Breakwater. The breakwater is a long, rocky path that leads directly to the lighthouse. Follow the path along the breakwater, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes to walk to the lighthouse. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, as the path can be uneven. Once you arrive at the lighthouse, enjoy the views of the harbor and the surrounding area.

If you are starting from the Farnsworth Art Museum located at 16 Museum Street, exit the museum and head west on Museum Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, turn right onto Ocean Street and follow it down to the breakwater entrance. From there, follow the same path along the breakwater to reach the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse.

From the Rockland Public Library located at 80 Union Street, head south on Union Street towards Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. Turn left onto Ocean Street and walk until you find the entrance to the Rockland Breakwater. Follow the breakwater path to the lighthouse.
