Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Rockland Harbor Hotel, located at 10 Ocean Street. Head south on Ocean Street towards the waterfront. When you reach the end of Ocean Street, turn right onto Mechanic Street. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to the Rockland Breakwater. The breakwater is a long, rocky path that leads directly to the lighthouse. Follow the path along the breakwater, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes to walk to the lighthouse. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, as the path can be uneven.
