Walking
From downtown Rockland, head east on Main Street towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mechanic Street. Turn right onto Mechanic Street. Follow Mechanic Street until you reach the waterfront area. Continue walking along the harborfront path before veering left towards the Breakwater. You will see the entrance to the Breakwater ahead of you. Follow the path out onto the Granite Breakwater for stunning views.

Start at the Rockland Public Library and head south on Union Street. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Turn left onto the Harbor Trail and follow the trail towards the Breakwater. The trail will take you directly to the entrance of the Granite Breakwater. Park your bike at one of the bike racks available near the entrance.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you are staying in a location served by local bus services, take the bus towards the Rockland Harbor area. Get off at the closest stop to Main Street. From there, walk east on Main Street until you reach the waterfront. Follow the directions for walking to the Breakwater as previously described.
