Getting There

    From the center of Kennebunkport, head south on Maine Street towards Ocean Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 9 (Main Street). Turn left onto Route 9 and follow it until you reach the Kennebunk River. Cross the river using the bridge and continue onto Route 1 South. After a short distance, look for signs directing you to Portland. Follow the signs to the Interstate 295 entrance. Once on the highway, stay on I-295 for approximately 30 minutes. Take exit 7 for Franklin Arterial, then turn left onto Franklin Street which leads directly to Custom House Wharf.

    From Kennebunkport, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route 1, where the local bus service operates. Board the bus heading towards Portland. Make sure to check the schedule for departure times. Once in Portland, get off at the bus station located at 950 Congress Street. From the bus station, walk east on Congress Street until you reach the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path south until you reach Custom House Wharf, which will be on your left.
