Walking
From the center of Kennebunkport, start at Dock Square. Head northeast on Maine Street toward Ocean Avenue. Continue straight onto Ocean Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 9 (Western Avenue). Turn right onto Route 9 and walk along the sidewalk. Follow Route 9 for approximately 1.2 miles, passing by the scenic views of the Kennebunk River. As you approach the Biddeford area, look for signs directing you toward East Point Sanctuary. You will need to continue on Route 9 until you reach the sanctuary entrance, which is on your right.

From Kennebunkport, you can take the local shuttle service or public bus to Biddeford. Check the schedule for the Kennebunkport and Biddeford shuttle. Once you arrive in Biddeford, disembark at the nearest stop to the East Point Sanctuary. Walk eastward on Route 9, and follow the previous walking directions to East Point Sanctuary. The sanctuary is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
