Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Kennebunkport, head towards the Kennebunk River. Walk along Dock Square, enjoying the shops and restaurants. Continue walking towards the bridge and cross it. Once you cross the bridge, turn right onto Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue until you reach the intersection with Route 9 (also known as the Post Road). Turn left onto Route 9 and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will come to a bus stop where you can catch the local shuttle to Portland. Ensure you check the shuttle schedule in advance.

Public Transport
From Kennebunkport, take the local shuttle service to Portland. Board the shuttle at the nearest stop in Dock Square. The shuttle ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Portland, get off at the stop closest to the Old Port district. From there, walk towards the waterfront and head to 1 Cutter St. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Old Port area. Follow Commercial Street until you reach Fore Street, then take a left onto Fore. Continue on Fore until you reach Cutter Street, where you will find Portland Paddle.
