  From the center of Kennebunkport, head southwest on Maine Street towards the intersection with Route 9. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the Kennebunkport Village Green. From there, follow the signs to the Dock Square area. Once you reach Dock Square, you can catch the local shuttle bus service that operates to Portland. The shuttle bus will take you directly to Portland, ME. When you arrive in Portland, disembark at the stop closest to the downtown area. From there, walk east on Congress Street until you reach High Street. Turn left on High Street, and you will find The McLellan House at the address 43 High St.

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kennebunkport. Start by cycling south on Maine Street until you reach the scenic Ocean Avenue. Continue on Ocean Avenue until you reach the intersection with Route 9, where you will turn left. Follow Route 9 north until you reach the local shuttle bus stop for Portland. Board the shuttle bus, and when you arrive in Portland, disembark at the downtown area. From there, cycle east on Congress Street and then turn left on High Street, where The McLellan House is located at 43 High St.

The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Portland, get off at the downtown stop. From there, walk east along Congress Street until you reach High Street.
