    Car

    If you are driving from downtown Rockland, head south on Main St/US-1 S for about 20 miles. Continue on US-1 S until you reach the junction with ME-77 S in South Portland. Take the exit toward Cape Elizabeth, then merge onto ME-77 S. Follow ME-77 S for approximately 2 miles, then turn left onto Bunker Lane. Fort Preble will be on your right after a short drive.

    From the Knox County area, you can take the bus operated by the Maine Department of Transportation. Board a bus heading toward Portland. Once you arrive at the Portland Transportation Center, transfer to the South Portland bus (Metro Bus line). Take the Metro Bus towards South Portland and disembark at the stop closest to Bunker Lane. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 0.5 miles) to Fort Preble.
