Ferry
From Rockland, head to the Rockland Harbor. Look for the ferry terminal which is located at 1 Public Landing, Rockland, ME 04841. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Camden. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Camden ferry terminal, you will be within walking distance of Curtis Island Lighthouse, which is located off the coast.
Walking
If you're walking from downtown Rockland, head north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Mechanic Street. Turn left onto Mechanic Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the harbor path towards Camden. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Camden area. After a scenic walk of about 3 miles along the coast, you will arrive in Camden, where you can access the ferry to Curtis Island Lighthouse.
Public Bus
You can take the Knox County Transit bus from Rockland to Camden. The bus stop is located at 20 Mechanic Street, Rockland, ME 04841. Check the schedule for departure times. The bus will take you directly to Camden. Once you arrive in Camden, walk towards the harbor and look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal for Curtis Island Lighthouse.
