    From downtown Rockland, walk to the Rockland Transportation Center located at 1 Station Rd. Catch the Lincoln County Public Transportation bus heading to Edgecomb. Make sure to check the bus schedule for times. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Edgecomb Village stop. From there, walk east along Route 1, crossing the bridge. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach Fort Rd. Turn right onto Fort Rd and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach Fort Edgecomb, which will be on your left.

    If you are renting a bicycle in Rockland, start from Main St. and head south towards the waterfront. Follow the path along the harbor, then take the bike lanes that lead to Route 1.
