From downtown Rockland, head east on Main Street (Route 1). Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Mechanic Street. Turn left onto Mechanic Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will reach a T-junction with Camden Street. Turn right onto Camden Street and follow it for about 2.5 miles. As you approach Camden, look for signs for Camden Hills State Park. The entrance to the park will be on your left. Once inside the park, follow the signs for Mt. Battie Tower, which is a short hike from the parking area.

If you have a bicycle, you can take a scenic ride from Rockland to Mt. Battie Tower. Start at Main Street in Rockland and ride east towards Camden.
