Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start at the Saco Transportation Center, located at 2 Main St, Saco, ME. From there, take the Greyhound bus towards Portland. Once you reach the Portland Bus Station, transfer to the Metro bus service. Take the Metro Route 8 bus towards the Maine Mall. Get off at the stop for the Maine Mall and transfer to the Route 9 bus towards Gray. The Maine Wildlife Park is located at 56 Game Farm Rd, Gray, ME 04039. Make sure to check the schedule for the last bus back to Saco.

  • Bicycle

    If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle in Saco. Start at the Saco River, head north on Main Street, and follow the path that leads to Route 1. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 202. Turn left onto Route 202 and follow the signs toward Gray. After about 10 miles, you will see signs for the Maine Wildlife Park on Game Farm Rd. Be careful, as parts of this route may have busy traffic.

    Walking to the Maine Wildlife Park from Saco is a considerable distance, so this option is not recommended unless you are prepared for a long trek. Begin at the Saco River and walk north on Main Street. Follow Main Street until it becomes Route 1. Continue walking along Route 1 for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 202. Turn left onto Route 202 and follow it until you see signs for Game Farm Rd. The park entrance will be on your left at 56 Game Farm Rd, Gray, ME 04039.
