If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Portland and head north on I-295. Continue on I-295 for approximately 6 miles. Take exit 10 toward Falmouth/Cumberland. After exiting, keep left to merge onto US-1 N. In about 2 miles, take a right onto Allen Avenue Extension. Continue on Allen Avenue Extension for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Presumpscot Falls Park on your right at 92 Allen Ave Ext, Falmouth, ME 04105. Parking is available at the park entrance.

For those using public transportation, start at the Portland Transportation Center. Take the METRO bus route 1 (to Falmouth) from the bus station. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Exit the bus at the Allen Avenue Extension stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes (0.5 miles) heading north on Allen Avenue Extension. Presumpscot Falls Park will be on your right at 92 Allen Ave Ext, Falmouth, ME 04105. Be sure to check the METRO bus schedule for the latest departure times.

If you prefer to bike, you can ride from Portland using the Back Cove Trail. Start at the trailhead near Baxter Boulevard and follow the trail around Back Cove. Once you reach the end of the trail, navigate to Route 1 and head north. Turn right onto Allen Avenue Extension and bike for about 1.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right at 92 Allen Ave Ext, Falmouth, ME 04105. Be aware of traffic on the road as you approach the park.
