From the center of Saco, head south on Main Street toward the Saco River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Beach Street. Turn left onto Beach Street and follow it until you reach the train station. Once there, you can take the Amtrak Downeaster train to Portland. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Portland, exit the train station and walk northwest on Franklin Street toward Congress Street. Turn left onto Congress Street and continue walking until you reach 138 Congress St, where the Portland Observatory is located.
