Car
If you're traveling by car, head to Sugarloaf Mountain Resort and take the access road leading towards the mountain. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 27. Turn left onto Route 27 North and follow it for approximately 6 miles. Look for Stratton Brook Road on your right. Turn onto Stratton Brook Road and continue for about 1.5 miles. The Fire Warden Trailhead will be on your left, where you can park your vehicle. There may be a small parking fee, so be sure to bring some cash just in case.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a bus to Kingfield, Maine, which is the closest town to Sugarloaf Mountain. From Kingfield, you'll need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Fire Warden Trailhead on Stratton Brook Road. Taxis may be limited, so it's advisable to book in advance.
