Start your journey from the Sugarloaf Mountain area. Head southwest on the Sugarloaf Access Road towards Route 27. When you reach Route 27, turn left onto ME-27 N. Continue on ME-27 N for approximately 6 miles. Then, turn right onto ME-16 E. Follow ME-16 for about 12 miles until you arrive at Hunter Cove Uplands, which will be on your left. Look for parking areas along the road.

From Sugarloaf Mountain, you will need to take a local bus service or a rideshare to reach Farmington, ME. Once in Farmington, transfer to a regional bus service that operates towards Rangeley, ME. Confirm the schedule in advance, as public transport options may be limited. Once you arrive in Rangeley, you can either walk or take a taxi to Hunter Cove Uplands located on ME-16. It is about 4 miles from the town center.
