Great way to see Acadia without fighting the crowds!

We were on a New England cruise (NCL) and wanted to experience Acadia with a local and preferably not on a tour bus. I found this private tour listing on Tripadvisor and reached out. Nathan was always prompt and professional in his replies. The directions on how and when to meet were easy to follow and he quickly adjusted when our tendering process took a little longer. (Pro-tip: Go directly to customer service on your cruise if you do not get the earlier tender ticket prior to the day you go.) Even though we had fog that morning, Nathan was diligent in making sure that we were able to see all the amazing views, even if he had to circle a few times until the fog lifted. He made great choices in the stops and photo opportunities. You can tell he has a great love for national parks and especially Acadia. The three hours was just enough time to see everything and not feel rushed. He shared some great local lunch options with us and we had plenty of time to walk through Bar Harbor before reboarding the ship! Definitely recommend Nathan and his company!

Great self-guided tour for Acadia

This is a really fun self-guided tour through Acadia. The narrator has a great voice and fun anecdotes about the park. He gives very clear directions and warns you about upcoming turns and stopping points along the way. Make sure you download the app and redeem the trip while you’re at the visitor center (or earlier) so you can download the map while you have cellular service. The GPS follows along with you and you can play the tour narration through the vehicle sound system. Absolutely loved it!

A guide we won’t forget!

We had a great experience with Woody as our guide. He took us from our hotel into the park in a nice vehicle, which was very clean. He had snacks handy, which was not expected. He told us all of the highlights of the park. He made it fun and it was very easy to talk to him. My mom forgot her sunglasses in the car and Woody found them and drove back to our hotel the next day to return them. Many many thanks to Woody..
