If you are driving, head towards Bar Harbor, ME. From any location in Washington County, take Route 1 North. Once you reach Ellsworth, take Route 3 towards Bar Harbor. Continue on Route 3 until you reach the entrance to Acadia National Park. There is an entrance fee for the park, which is approximately $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass. After entering the park, follow the road signs towards Thunder Hole, which is located along the Park Loop Road.
