Walking
If you are starting from Blantyre's city center, head south on Victoria Avenue. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Mandala Road. Turn left onto Mandala Road and continue straight until you reach the junction with the M1 Highway. At this point, take a right onto the M1 Highway and walk for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Michiru Nature Sanctuary, which is located off the main road. Follow the signs and walk up the trail leading to the entrance of the sanctuary.

Bicycle
Starting from the center of Blantyre, rent a bicycle and head south on Victoria Avenue. After reaching Mandala Road, turn left and cycle straight until you hit the M1 Highway. At the junction, take a right turn onto the M1 Highway, cycling for about 2 kilometers. Look out for directional signs to Michiru Nature Sanctuary. Once you see the signs, follow them to the entrance, which leads uphill into the sanctuary.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From the Blantyre city center, find a minibus heading towards Limbe. You will want to get off at the stop closest to the M1 Highway. From there, you can ask the driver or locals for directions to Michiru Nature Sanctuary. Walk along the M1 Highway until you find the entrance signs for the sanctuary, which is just off the highway. The walk from the minibus stop to the sanctuary should take about 15-20 minutes.
