Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Blantyre, start by heading south on Victoria Street towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the M1 highway. Here, you will see signs for Kamoto and the surrounding areas. Turn left onto the M1 highway and continue walking along the paved sidewalk. Keep an eye out for local shops and eateries which can be a good place to stop for refreshments. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the Kamoto area. Look for the intersection with the sign that indicates Kamoto. At this point, you will want to take a right turn onto a smaller road. Keep walking straight until you reach a park area with green spaces, which will be Stella Marris. The exact location is 5XCX+VJC, Blantyre.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in downtown Blantyre. Start your journey on Victoria Street heading south towards the M1 highway. When you reach the M1, turn left and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Kamoto area. Follow the same route as pedestrians, looking for the Kamoto sign and taking a right turn onto the smaller road. Continue straight until you see the park area, which is Stella Marris located at 5XCX+VJC, Blantyre. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling rules for safety.

• Public Transport (Minibus)

  To reach Stella Marris by public transport, find the nearest minibus station in Blantyre. Look for a minibus heading towards Kamoto. Once you board, inform the conductor that you wish to get off at the Kamoto stop. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Kamoto, get off and ask locals for directions towards Stella Marris, which is at 5XCX+VJC. It's a short walk from the drop-off point, and locals are usually very helpful.
