    Car

    From Chinteche, head south on the main road towards Nkhata Bay. After about 5 kilometers, look for a sign directing you to the right towards Elephant Rock. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach a small parking area near the rock formation. Make sure to take care as the road may be unpaved in sections.

    Public Transportation

    Take a minibus from Chinteche heading towards Nkhata Bay. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the junction for Elephant Rock. The fare should be around 500 MKW (Malawi Kwacha). Once you arrive at the junction, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Elephant Rock. Follow the path leading to the rock formation, keeping an eye out for any local directions if you’re unsure.

    If you are already at the parking area and have parked your car, you will need to walk the last 200 meters to Elephant Rock. Follow the marked footpath leading directly to the rock. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
