Car
From Chinteche, head north on the M5 road towards Livingstonia. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the turnoff to Livingstonia. This will be on your left. Follow this road, and after around 10 kilometers, you will reach the village of Livingstonia. Once in Livingstonia, ask locals for directions to the waterfall, as it is a popular local destination. The waterfall is located at C47C+F3R, about 2 kilometers from the center of Livingstonia. Parking may be available near the waterfall.
Public Transportation
From Chinteche, take a minibus headed towards Mzuzu. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Livingstonia. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Livingstonia, you can either walk (approximately 2 kilometers) or hire a local taxi to take you to Manchewe Waterfalls at C47C+F3R. Ensure to negotiate the taxi fare beforehand, as prices can vary.
Walking
If you find yourself in Livingstonia, you can walk to Manchewe Waterfalls. From the village center, head southeast on the road leading out of town. Follow the main path, which will eventually lead you to the waterfalls. It's a scenic walk, but be sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the terrain can be uneven.
