Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Chinteche. Head north on the M5 highway. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach Nkhata Bay. As you approach Nkhata Bay, keep an eye out for the Nkhata Bay Police Station on your left. Sahara Leisures - Restaurant & Bar is directly opposite the police station. There is ample parking along the roadside.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Sahara Leisures using public transport, you can take a minibus from Chinteche to Nkhata Bay. The minibuses leave frequently from the bus station in Chinteche and the fare is usually around 500 MWK (Malawi Kwacha). The journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Nkhata Bay, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the Nkhata Bay Police Station, which should be visible. Sahara Leisures - Restaurant & Bar is directly opposite the police station.

• Walking

  If you are already in Nkhata Bay and wish to walk to Sahara Leisures, locate the Nkhata Bay Police Station, which is a well-known landmark. From the police station, simply cross the road; Sahara Leisures - Restaurant & Bar is directly across from the station. The walk should take only a few minutes.
